Already But Not Yet is the story of a life which has already been changed but is not yet complete. It provides a glimpse into post-World War II Melbourne, playing Australian Rules football, and living on a remote island off the coast of Northern Australia and in the bustling cities of Hong Kong and Los Angeles. It chronicles a search for life’s meaning, working as a security executive, and enduring a US$3.3 million personal injury lawsuit.
Woven into the story is the 18th century exploitation of Australian Aboriginals; the 19th century role opium played in China and the formation of the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong; and the 20th century charismatic renewal in the historical churches, spiritual revival among Indigenous people, and the freeing of Chinese Triads from heroin addiction.

Praise from readers
“Geoff’s story stirred up many wonderful memories (from the 1970’s) of our time working with gang members and drug addicts in Hong Kong.”
— JACKIE PULLINGER, author of Chasing the Dragon
"A fine book and, in parts, a really inspiring read of Jackie Pullinger and Rick and Jean Willans and their work in Hong Kong. All three were wonderfully inspirational Christians in my life, so it’s with pleasure that I read about them from the author’s viewpoint.”
— DAVID AIKMAN, former Beijing bureau chief, TIME magazine, and author of Jesus in Beijing
“Geoff loved life in Melbourne with his family as a professional footballer, and initially said ‘No!’ to working with Aborigines on a remote north Australian island, but quickly changed to say ‘Yes’ to God and found an exciting and challenging life opened to him where he was constantly amazed at the reality of the guidance and power of God’s Holy Spirit. Read this book and discover the reality of this life for yourself!”
